We were first introduced to each other at the "Old" Pub at Babson by the pool table. Our fellow Beavers will know what we are talking about... Danny on the Babson Hockey team and Ali on the Lacrosse team, both our teams were close friends. Being that most people on our teams were from New England, we were immediately introduced to each other as the “two Jersey kids”. And so began our story to forever...

We officially began dating the spring of Ali's Senior Year. And so Ali (patiently) visited Danny on the weekends for the next 2 years while he finished at Babson. After Danny's graduation in the spring of 2017, we moved into our favorite apartment in Jersey City where we would stay for the next 3 1/2 years together. Looking back we have so many amazing memories from our time in that apartment. Set with an unbeatable view of a massive David Bowie mural on a nearby building, we were fortunate enough to host our friends on a regular basis there. As our time in Jersey City came to an end in the midst of the Pandemic. We found ourselves, like many others, with the ability to live anywhere while working remotely. This ultimately led us to the Jersey Shore. Jordan and Jessie kindly became our temporary landlords & roommates in Manasquan, NJ. All the while, Danny voraciously canvassed the market for a home to buy. Our time in Manasquan was some of our favorite times together. We took daily walks on the beach, bike rides through town, and enjoyed live music at beach bars. It was just such a casual and relaxing lifestyle in a time of so much uncertainty. After 6 months beachside, we finally found a home in the 'Burbs and moved to Madison NJ in early 2022; where we currently reside. After almost 9 years together we have had fun through it all! Whether is it enjoying our friends and celebrating their major life moments; hosting parties whenever possible so Ali can make her token charcuterie board; spending quality time with both families who have become so close, relaxing weekends at the beach, trying new restaurants but mostly staying true to our go to's, going on long walks to explore new places, and (most importantly, according to Danny) Ali picking up golf to be able to play with Danny, and simply just ENJOYING life together!

Ali grew up going to Cape May every year with her family, starting at just 6 months old. It was her family’s “happy place” where they shared countless memories with grandparents, friends, and cousins. When we started dating, Ali brought Danny for the first time, and now it has become a bi-annual trip for us. One that is our little getaway or "stay-cation" as a couple. Since we have started going here, we have made so many memories and many of them have been at Congress Hall! Cape May has everything that we enjoy: a beautiful and relaxing beach town, an amazing variety of restaurants and cuisine, and (of course) a little shopping for the occasional rainy day. In December of 2022, Danny (finally) proposed on the beach in front of Congress Hall. Naturally, we couldn’t have envisioned anywhere else to host our Wedding Weekend! We've always talked about wanting to share a place that we love so much with our family and friends and having a weekend experience for our guests. One where everyone can really get to know why we love it, and perhaps fall in love with it themselves!
